Hello Campers! Yesterday Dear ol' Dad and I had a major shock that we both believe demands conversation on todays blog. Dad had just gotten home from a hard days work and started checking up on his Facebook Family by checking posts and the "News Feed". As he quickly scrolled down, gazing at names he knew and topics of interest, he came across a particular post that stopped him dead in his tracks.
This post read something along the lines of "Watch this video this girls Step-Father murdering her". There was, what appeared to be, a video link associated with the post. The video link picture, however, was of a NAKED GIRL with her her woodiddy and nibbilettes hanging out all over the place. YIKES!! Now, Dad is not a stranger to kajunga's and the occational voodiscus but, as most of you know, I have a 12 year old brother and 9 year old sister living here with me. Dad almost pooped a Screen Actors Guild Award when he came across this link. Facebook should be safe enough for anyone to sit in the privacy of their own living room without being afraid of a set of major yabos and a foofiscus jumping off the screen at them.
People... if the link, message, post, website or email has a subject like or text that looks out of character for the person sending... for example you get an email from your Grandma that says "check out the two Asian twins I saw making out at the bar on Friday"... chances are, ITS A VIRUS. Don't click on it. If you're still in doubt, call or email your friend and ask them "Grandma, did you mean to send me the Asian twins makeout video this afternoon???". My Peppermint Grandpa used to say "You can believe about half of what you see and even less of what you hear"... I guess the same holds true of the Social Networks.
Be safe internet users, kids. Protect yourself and the people you are connected with... don't click on things that look wrong, cause chances are good its a trap!
Be good... peeps!!
